Lauren Wood - "Chunky" of Chunky, Novi and Ernie for those of you with long Warner Brothers memories. Most recent hit was "Fallen For You" from the "Pretty Woman" soundtrack. The huskiest of voices.

David "Dawg" Grisman - The one, the only. Possibly the greatest mandolin player of all time. His label puts out numerous projects including the famous one of Dawg with Jerry Garcia.

David Nichtern - Mr. "Midnight at the Oasis". Check out his new CD or him in person in NYC at Wilson Bar uptown every Tuesday night in June.

Eddie Ciletti - The THIS of the DAT, The master of digital, the captain of capstan, Eddie is the owner of Manhattan Sound Technicians and THE acknowleged expert in the field of Digital Tape Machine Maintenance. He writes the tech column for EQ Magazine. And he gets to have his picture above the column!!!

Managra Music - Joel Moss is a terrific recording engineer who worked with one of my best friends, Miles Goodman, for years. Miles died two years ago and Joel's become a rather good jazz producer with his own label.
